Run without Boundaries

Our first fundraiser through Woven Papyrus has wrapped up, and wow what a blessing it was to see everyone who participated and to follow along as Andrew and Amber (as well as their kids) poured out love on our family as they gave their time and effort to make everything happen! If you'd like to see the behind the scenes fun that Amber shared, visit her story highlight titled "Fridge Full" at @equippingarrows on Instagram.

I'm equally excited to be sharing our next fundraiser with you today!

My precious friend, Lina, had the idea to organize a virtual 5k that is taking place throughout the month of January. This virtual 5k is incredibly simple and fun! You can complete your 5k (3.1 miles) at any point between Jan 1st and Jan 31st. Run or walk, solo or with a group, treadmill or outdoors -- It's up to you!

We have had several generous donors for this event and all participants will be entered into the drawing for these awesome prizes! To get your first entry, be sure to register as a participant. While you're there, don't forget to check out all o the other ways you can gain extra raffle entries!

Also, be sure to stay connected with us on social media. You can find run without boundaries on Facebook and Instagram.

Speaking of Facebook, be sure to check the events tab to find out more information about Saturday morning group runs if you'd like to run with us!

Time doesn't work for you? Invite some friends and organize your own group! We're happy to share our routes if you need ideas of places to run or walk!

As I mentioned, this whole fundraiser was Lina's idea, so I want to take a moment to introduce you to my friend!

We connected earlier this year when Lina sent me the sweetest email after hearing about our intention to adopt from her beloved Colombia 🇨🇴 and we quickly became great friends.

We learned that we share both an enneagram type and a love for photography 📷, and Lina is responsible not only for giving me the push I needed to get consistently active again 🏃🏻‍♀️, but also for a great deal of my progress in learning Spanish! Oh, and let's not forget my new love for cooking arepas and pandebonos.

She's an absolute sweetheart, and I know you'll agree with me if you're lucky enough to join us for a Saturday group run!

What are you waiting for? Let's get active together this January and help us bring our little one home!
