We owe you all a HUGE thank you for your incredible support of our T-shirt fundraiser!
Many of you know, but some may not, that we put out a couple of videos in the last days of our shirt campaign. Only 48 hours before our campaign was set to end, we were sitting at 45 shirts sold. We wanted to make a push to see if we could hit 50 shirts before it ended, so we did a little "Friday Night Live" live stream on Facebook where we interviewed our girls about the adoption. It was pretty cute, so if you missed it feel free to go back and give it a watch!
Over that night and Saturday morning, we saw a huge show of support and moved on up to 65 shirts sold. From the very beginning I had said that it would be awesome if we could sell 100 shirts because that would push our funds raised over the $1000 mark. Ben's competitive side kicked in and he decided to make a challenge...
So, the next video was put out on Saturday evening where he stated that if we could make it to 100 shirts by the end of Sunday (when the shirt campaign ended), he would do 5 burpees for every shirt sold. You guys totally came through and rallied around us sharing and helping us get there, and by the end of Sunday we had sold 109 shirts!
We have been praising God for allowing us to experience the encouragement of so much support. The final funds raised through this fundraiser ended up being $1256.60. And, Ben had a lot of work to do! As promised, he did 545 burpees AND we videoed it and have it ready for you to see. He was working out for 90 minutes, but don't worry, we sped up the video so that you aren't watching forever.
I have to give it to him, this was a nasty workout... and he made it even harder by throwing in an extra workout halfway through (Skip to 4:15 in the video for this). I only did 50 burpees with him and I was good with that, haha.
