I've often heard our pastor tell us to "praise God for what He has done and to then ask Him to do even more". I feel like that is exactly where we are sitting right now. God has been so faithful to use so many of you all to support our family so far in this process. Already, we've seen over $16,000 be provided for our adoption and each time a new fee or expense has come due, the funds were available and ready. For this, we praise God - He is our provider, and as we look ahead we simply continue to trust and ask that he continues to move and work in this process.

Today, we have officially launched our partnership with Woven Papyrus Adoption project. WPAP is a non-profit who desires to assist families in raising the funds for their adoption through mobilizing their community of supporters. We are so blessed to already have several beloved supporters who will be "holding the rope" for us and giving generously of their time and effort to advocate for our family over the coming months. Keep an eye out for some AMAZING fundraisers they have planned, and also take a look at our page to see a little more about what WPAP is all about. You can view our page and/or make tax-deductible donations HERE. We invite you to continue praying. Pray for our family as we continue to learn, prepare, and fill out paperwork. Pray for our future child - for their safety, care, health, ultimately that the love of Christ will be known by him/her. Pray for our supporters and fundraising, that God would bless the generous efforts being made and provide for our needs through these events. Prayer is no insignificant task! God desires our prayers and wants to act on them. I love the way John Piper stated it, "God acts in response to prayer. The all-knowing, all-foreseeing, all-planning, all-governing God wills for your Christ-exalting prayers to be the occasion of his action."
"Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your graciousness be known to everyone. The Lord is near. Don’t worry about anything, but in everything, through prayer and petition with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus."
