It's Official!

On Thursday we received our acceptance call into the Colombia program with Lifeline! It actually came a little ahead schedule and we were able to go ahead take the first steps to getting our process rolling. So exciting! I also took the advice of a friend who is also adopting and printed out our manual and starter kit so that we can stay organized throughout the process.

We have been totally blown away by the display of God's faithfulness in this process already, and the love and generosity that you all have shown us in a matter of days. I don't have words to fully express the gratitude we feel, but know that each one of you who have been generous or sent a note of encouragement has been a blessing to us. God used your generosity to allow us to be ready to submit our first agency fees as soon as the acceptance call came in!

Heading into the home study process makes this all feel so much more real. From what we have been told, this can take about three months to complete. By the looks of the checklist, we'll be staying quite busy for those three months, too. While we do this, we'll continue to share various fundraisers that we have lined up or that friends have been so generous to set up for us.
